The City of Kwinana Educational Scholarships (delivered by the LyriK Program) offers young residents the opportunity to gain some financial support as they transition through their schooling. Scholarships between the amounts of $300-$800 are awarded to young people to assist with the purchases of education related items (i.e. school fees, uniforms and books). A total of 16 Educational Scholarships are awarded annually across the following 4 year levels (4 scholarships for each level):

Entering Year 7 in 2018 – $300
Entering Year 11 in 2018 – $375
Entering Year 12 in 2018 – $400
Entering Further Education in 2018 – $800

All applicants must include a copy of their most recent term 2 (or semester 1) school report with their application, along with any other relevant certificates. Failure to include a term 2 report will lead to the application being deemed non-compliant and the application will not be assessed.
