Round 10 Winners!

Wednesday, 26 May 2010 13:29

Well Round 10 of the Lyrik Awards has now been and gone but we thought it would be good to let you al know who the winners were.

The night was held on the 5th May at the Koorliny Arts Centre and was by far the biggest awards night that LyriK has put on to date. Over 200 people packed in to the theatre at the Arts Centre to be a part of rewarding and recognising those young people in our Kwinana community that had been making significantly positive contributions to the world around them. As we had so many nominations for this round, the calibre of the young people that were nominated was so great that for this round we also awarded a highly commendable prize to some of the young people that just missed out on winning their category.

So without any further adue, here are the winners....

Leadership - Zoe Adams

Mateship - Trent Buswell

Respect - Tahj Hilzinger-Smith

Inspiration - Kristie Nicholson

Achievment - Kerrie-Ann Wright

Teamwork - Yr 7 Clontarf Boys

The young people that were highly commended were: Lucann Cooper (Leadership), Bailey Brett (Mateship), Justin Loy (Teamwork), Ben Joss (Respect) and Cassandra Nicholson (Achievement).

Contragulations to all our award winners!

Round 11 is now open for nominations, so if you want to recognise a young person aged 10 -15 for their contribution then make sure you get in your nomination!
